History
Joseph Henry Hewson was born in 1856, the son of Elizabeth and Joseph Hewson. He married Mary Ann Purdy on April 22, 1890, in Port Hope, Ontario. They had three children during their marriage. He died of typhoid fever on October 30, 1902, in Belleville, Ontario, at the age of 45.
