Biographical history
Gertrude "Trudie" Patmore (1909-2007) was born January 10, 1909 in Cranbrook B.C. She began teach in 1927 at age 19 first in Cranbrook then in Victoria B.C. After WWII she worked as Associate Secretary, Christian Education for B.C. Conference. In 1950, Trudie worked as National Supervisor for Sunday School in the Home by Mail and Air (Toronto). She helped to establish the "Tell Us a Story" radio program. In 1956, she worked at the Prairie Christian Training Centre in Fort Qu'appelle, SK as a Staff Associate. From 1968-1973 Trudie worked on staff of the First United Church in Victoria until she retired.
Gertrude Patmore died March 24, 2007 in Victoria, BC.
