    Scope and content

Subseries consists of general files reporting on the development of an Acquisition and Designation System (ADS) by MBB Helicopter Canada Limited, which works as a sensor and targeting unit fitted onto helicopters, and Japanese leaflets and dictionary on different ammunition. The files contain an introduction of the purpose for setting up an ADS followed by the processes and development plan that will take place. Within the report are timelines, graphs, charts that summarize the system, its uses and potential for the Canadian technology industry. As for the Japanese leaflets, they contain a simple dictionary of Japanese words alongside their pronunciation and the translated English word. Additionally, blueprints, translations and descriptions of Japanese ammunitions are translated for understanding their weaponry. The subseries is arranged in alpha-numerical order by the reference number.
