The Port Hope Friends of Music was founded in 1974 and it is run by volunteers under a Board of Directors.

Donated to the Ganaraska Region Archives/Port Hope Archives by N. Corbeil, D. Smith, and R. Long, past executive members of the Port Hope Friends of Music. Accruals received on multiple occasions between 2003-2007.
Scope and content
File consists of correspondence, pamphlets and correspondence between Friends of Music and sponsors from 2005-2006. Also included are Brochures from past seasons, lists of donations, corporate sponsors, correspondence, recognition levels, background information on Friends of Music and an advertising and promotional report.
