Biographical history
Léonard Larochelle was a teacher at Le Séminaire de Hearst from 1958 to 1960. He then pursued his teaching career in Quebec. In 2003, the donor attended the Homecoming reunion celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of l’Université de Hearst, and then offered these documents to l’Université de Hearst. The first documents were received in 2004, followed by another serie in 2013.

Le Centre d’archives de la Grande Zone argileuse acquired the fonds from Léonard Larochelle, in 2004 and 2013.
Arrangement
Once acquired, the documents were organized by the archivist, respecting the original order. Some of the documents and articles found in the aggregation of documents were not kept in the fonds.
