This Committee was established and held its first meeting September 1949, with a mandate to investigate and report to the Medical Advisory Board on the shortage of nurses generally and with specific reference to the TGH, and to make recommendations for alleviating such shortage. The Committee was composed of Drs. D.M Low, F.I. Lewis, and J.A. Dauphinee. The Committee completed its work and submitted its final report to the Medical Advisory Board January 4, 1950.
