Biographical history
Erik Loder (1933-1993) was an artist and teacher. He was born in Wilmington, Delaware and educated at Bard College and Pratt University. He taught drawing, print making and painting at a number of collecges and universities in the United States and Canada including Fleming College and Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. His work has been exhibited widely in Canada and the United States.
Custodial history
Fonds was in the custody of the creator's widow, Robin Loder, until donated to Trent University.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of correspondence, lecture notes, art catalogues, sketches, drawings, oil and acrylic paintings and slides of Loder's art works.
