Biographical history
Elizabeth Watt was born in 1842 in Guelph, Ontario. She was the wife of Andrew Watt a carpenter. They had two children Frances and Daniel Watt. Her death certificate indicates that she lived on Surrey Street and was a window when she died in 1918. She is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Custodial history
Prior to their transfer to Guelph Public Library Archives, the records were in the custody of Harry Martin.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of records created and or acquired by Elizabeth Watt. Records include her will, statutory declarations, life insurance policies, school certificates for Daniel Watts, family history information, and materials pertaining to the financial disbursement of her estate.
