        History

        Dawn Mills Pastoral Charge was formed in 1925, formerly Methodist. It included Dawn Mills, Lindsay Road Church in Chatham Township, and Wabash, and was discontinued ca. 1968 when Dawn Mills closed, Lindsay Road Church joined Chalmers Pastoral Charge, and Wabash joined Bothwell Pastoral Charge.

        Dawn Mills United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The Dawn Mills United Church was originally part of the Florenc Mission of the Wesleyan Methodist church in 1860. It became part of its own mission in 1868, which included Dawn Mills, Lindsay Road, Dresden, Knagg's, and Wellington. Louisville was added in 1871. Dawn Mills joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It closed ca. 1968.
