Series consists of the transcription of Cemetery Records for St. John's Anglican Cemetery (now St. Mark's Cemetery). Researched from St. John's Church Record Books from 1819-1899. Compiled on behalf of the Lakeshore Genealogical Society and East Durham Historical Society, (now the Port Hope and District Historical Society). Records include a history of the cemetery as well as a chart that attempts to provide the following for each individual; Name, Parents, Died, Burial, Born, Age, Residence, Cemetery.

Series consists of the transcription of Cemetery Records for Welcome United Cemetery, Sections A to G. Research by East Durham Historical Society. The records include a brief history of the cemetery, followed by two maps, one outlining the seven sections of the cemetery and the other outlining the plots within the cemetery. There is also a list of the deceased with their plot numbers, along with a description of the information found on the stones.

Series consists of the transcription of Cemetery Records for Canton Cemetery. The research was completed by the East Durham Historical Society (now the Port Hope and District Historical Society). A description of the cemetery is found at the beginning of the document. There is also a map on the inside, demonstrating where each of the plots are located. The document then outlines the names on each of the plots along with the stone number. The names are listed alphabetically. Toward the back of the document, there is text that is written on each of the stones.

Research was conducted by the East Durham Historical Society (now the Port Hope and District Historical Society). Inside the records there is a brief history of the cemetery, followed by a map of the plots. This is then followed by a list of the deceased with their plot number beside their name. The dinner is held annually to mark the continued dedication of volunteers serving on the committees of the Municipality of Port Hope. The programme contains a full listing of all committee members who were invited to attend.

The records of the Walford-Nepahwin Neighbourhood Ratepayers Association fonds include: minutes, reports, maps, correspondence, pamphlets and newspaper clippings. The documents provide insight to the activities of this group from 1974 to 1996. The records show that through the years, the group has been active in: the preservation of the Lily Creek Conservation Area, bylaws regulating commercial land development and commercial signs, the disposal of hazardous wastes, recycling, the repercussions of a teachers' strike, and the controversial issue of slurry trucks and traffic safety.

The fonds documents Clayton Ruby's activities as a lawyer and activist. Records consist of professional correspondence and subject files. General correspondence is mostly with politicians, colleagues, and the Law Society. Subjects file topics include: the Law Society, Advocates Society, Amnesty International, Conferences, Law Reform Commission, Canadian Institute for the Administration of Justice, and the Charter of Rights Education Fund. Also included are various photographic portraits of Clayton Ruby.

It includes: First Baptist Church, Town Hall, Horticultural Society Gardens at Rotary Park, Port Hope & District Hospital, "Idalia" Port Hope Golf Club, Harbour, Port Hope Golf & Country Club.

File consists of four (4) oversized pages from a scrapbook accumulated by the donor's grandfather, c1945-1965. It includes information and handwritten notes on the following: Statement regarding the unionization of Nicholson File Company of Canada Ltd. by J.R. Giffen, Port Hope Evening Guide, c1950; the development of the national flag of Canada, 1964-1965; "Six Years of War Against Germany" timeline; various clippings regarding the early history of Port Hope; and a hand-written poem signed "Gill"

The records of this fonds document the operation of the Elizabeth Fry Chapter of the IODE, Sudbury Branch, and they include: minutes, reports, correspondence, pamphlets, photographs, and newspaper clippings. These records provide insight to the activities of the Chapter within the Sudbury area from 1932 to 1997. Through the years, the activities of this organization have entailed: sponsoring children at summer camps, genetic testing clinics, scholarships, donations to local hospitals and libraries, and service at Citizenship Court. In the earlier years, this Chapter organized inoculation clinics, the Fresh Air Camp, support for needy children, and aid for the war effort.
