          Series contains of bulletins, newsletters, and newspaper clippings discussing the School of Christ program. It also contains a variety of photographs depicting its participants and organizers. There is one audio cassette of Sister Mary Margaret Childs, director of the senior choir, talking about her memories of the program, and one vinyl plaque presented to Sisters Mary Margaret Childs and Maureen Dalton from a group of alumni.

          Fonds consists of Parkhill’s curriculum vitae and copies of his articles and presentations on computer communication, Telidon and videotext 1978-1985. Parkhill’s files on informatics while he was Assistant Deputy Minister (Research) with the federal Department of Communications from 1974 until his retirement in 1984 which includes published and unpublished reports. Parkhill’s correspondence and 91 audio tapes of recorded interviews with leaders in the videotext and teletext fields in Europe, North America and Far East that led to his manuscript “The Beginning of a Beginning” (1985). A large series on informatics including correspondence, articles, published and unpublished reports and studies covering videotex, teletext and Telidon 1972-1988. Subject files covering computerization and office communications systems (OCS). Also some photos of Parkhill receiving awards and his retirement.

          File consists of an essay written by H. R. S. Ryan on the 100th anniversary of the Baldwin Act. The essay was published in "Ontario History" in 1950 under the title "Echoes from the Minute books: Notes on the proceedings of the Board of police of Port Hope, 1834-1849" pages 184-204. The essay details early history of the town and its residents. Footnotes are given to document sources. It also includes the original transcript of the essay by H. R. S. Ryan.

          Photograph showing the first and only location of the Edgeley post office which was also the general store. It was located on the south east corner of Thornhill Sideroad and the Fifth Concession of Vaughan Township, Ontario, now Hwy. 7 and Jane St. Mr. L. Arthur Whitmore, postmaster and general store owner, is seen here putting groceries in a buggy. In the buggy on the right is his father-in-law, William Reid, an Edgeley blacksmith, who was ready to leave for Concord to pick up the mail from the train at the Thornhill station. The Edgeley post office and store was closed on July 12, 1960. It was demolished when Jane St was widened and paved in 1965.

          Fonds consists of material that documents his career as a writer and broadcaster and, as such, includes correspondence with publishers, fan mail, research material, newspaper clippings, reviews of his work, notes, drafts and galleys related to his novels and works of non-fiction. The writing files include photocopies of his own letters written to his mother when he was an internee in England and manuscript and photocopies of letters written to Koch from Daria Hambourg and used as research material for his novel, "The Brothers Hambourg". Fonds also includes transcripts of interviews as well as written reminiscences in the form of letters from many former German internees; these letters were subsequently used as resource material for his book "Deemed Suspect: A Wartime Blunder". Fonds includes a complete set of published copies of his books. The broadcasting files contain correspondence, memos, notes and drafts of scripts, scrapbooks and other material that documents his long career with the CBC.

          The item is a scrapbook containing documents and identification ribbons from the First Canadian Television Clinic, presented by the Academy of Radio Arts. The documents in the scrapbook include the brochure for the event, an open invitation letter, the agenda, and biographies on some of the speakers. The three ribbons are for identifying whether a person was event staff, a guest or a member of the press.

          The records of the Florence Isabella Craig fonds attest to her career as journalist, editor, and author. Moreover, they document the period of WWII and of the contributions of women in the labour force.

          Many of the research notes and typed articles are scripts or background information for Clare Wallace’s radio programs and cover various subjects such as weather phenomenon, birth control, history of well-known Canadian families, medical issues, fashion, mine sites, and even finger prints and ‘Black Magic.’

          The scrapbooks contain clippings of articles written by Craig for the Toronto Star, the Sudbury Star, and Fore Sight, but also publicity images mostly depicting the role of women in the labour force during WWII.

          The fonds also includes research notes, drafts, and different proofs of the book Craig wrote with Clare Wallace, as well as for other books she worked on. There are also notebooks with her poetry.

There are correspondence, newspaper clippings, bookmarks, advertisements, pamphlets, brochures, program outlines, catalogues, registers, photographs, communication records, newsletters, bulletins, memos, minutes, advertisements, bookmarks, and booklets. The materials were created predominantly in London, Ontario and Edmonton, Alberta. The main function of the materials in this series relates to providing information as well as the administration of the formation process.
