Administrative history
Established by the Senate on October 14, 1966, the Committee on Admissions was to draw up a general policy concerning the admission of students at the University. The Committee was preoccupied with the requirements, and the procedures of admissions. It was abolished on December 16, 1968, and replaced by the Committee on Admissions, Undergraduate Students. The latter made recommendations on the policy, the requirements and procedures concerning the admission of students to undergraduate studies. It was abolished on January 8, 1973, when the Council on Undergraduate Studies assumed its functions.
