Charles Eldon Ewing (1830-1896) was an officer with the Customs Services in Northumberland County, Ontario in the late nineteenth century.

Portée et contenu
Fonds consists of the business and personal records of Charles Eldon Ewing. The fonds includes correspondence relating to his work as a land surveyer, teacher and collector of customs. In addition, it contains Ewing's teaching certificates and commissions. Also included are documents recording Ewing's land transactions in Haldimand Township, Northumberland County. The fonds further consists of an engineering textbook and contemporary newspaper accounts concerning the Ewing Lubricator.
