    Administrative history

Burn's Presbyterian Church, Ashburn, Ontario traces its origins to 1849 when a mission station was established in the village. From 1850 to 1855, the the congregation in Ashburn was linked with the Whitby and Utica, Ontario, churches. From 1864 to 1865, the congregation was linked with the church in Prince Albert; and then in 1868 it became linked once again with Breadalbane Church in Utica. This connection lasted until 1910, when Burn's Presbyterian Church became a self-sustaining congregation.
