Administrative history

The Toronto Hospital’s chief administrative officer was the President/CEO who reported directly to the Chair of the hospital’s Board of Trustees. The President/CEO heads the chief administrative body of TTH, the Executive Committee.

Mr. Vickery M Stoughton (1986-1991) and Dr. Alan R. Hudson (1991-1999) have served as TTH President and CEO.

Scope and content

Series consists of incoming and outgoing correspondence between the Office of the President and Board of Trustees members. Series also contains copies of minutes from various Board of Trustees committees and hospital acts and by-laws which were accumulated by the President. File 9.3.1 contains a copy of the TGH Master Plan dated May 6, 1974. This file also contains TGH By-laws for medical staff dated 1982.
