Administrative history
Bedford Park United Church was established in 1925; formerly Presbyterian. It was located at 100 Ranleigh Avenue. In 2005, the church began to consider redeveloping its property for mixed use housing and community space, and in 2012, the church building was demolished. The congregation began to worship in rented space at Eglinton St. George's United Church at 35 Lytton Blvd. The redevelopment became unfeasible and the Ranleigh Avenue property was sold. The congregation of Bedford Park United Church is now closed.
Bedford Park Presbyterian Church began holding services in private homes as early as 1913. In 1921, the congregation built a church at Ranleigh Avenue, near Yonge and Lawrence. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925.
