        The Bayham Historical Society was founded on January 11th, 2001, to research, catalogue, preserve and promote the heritage of the Municipality of Bayham, including documentary, oral and visual projects, and to disseminate historical information through meetings, exhibits, lectures, newsletters, books and electronic media.

        The Friends of Edison joined the Bayham Historical Society in hopes of saving and preserving local artifacts and documents and building a new Edison Museum.
