These records were scheduled as TW040 As Built Consultant Drawings. They were maintained in the Engineering Division of the Transportation and Works Department and then transferred to the City of Thunder Bay records centre for inactive storage as per their retention schedule.
Scope and content
Primarily folded construction drawings relating to sewers, sidewalks, parking lots, traffic lights, etc. and some letters from the Telephone Department, Thunder Bay Hydro and Centra Gas.

As a long term temporary measure these folded drawings have been placed in individual file folders as there are not enough flat map cabinets to accommodate this entire series at present (2010).
