Biographical history
Arthur (Art) Linton is a Waterloo, Ontario, lawyer and businessman. He served in the Canadian Military between 1966 and 1970 and is a recipient of the United Nations and Canadian Peacekeeping Medals as well as the Judge Advocate General’s Command Coin for service to the military legal profession.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of records accumulated by Art Linton in his capacity as a director of Magna Carta Canada 2015, a touring exhibition of the Magna Carta in Canada that travelled to Winnipeg, Ottawa, Toronto and Edmonton in 2015. Records in the fonds are mostly memorabilia of this event, including posters and a commemorative pin, and related correspondence. Also included is a photograph of the Ontario Superior Court Judges' Association members in 2015, as well as items pertaining to Linton's attendance at a Magna Carta Foundation of Liberty Runnymede 800 event held in the United Kingdom in June 2015.
