        History

        Arnstein Evangelical United Brethren Church was established in 1887 as part of the Arnstein and Perry Sound Mission (including Mills, Deer Lake, Rye) of the Evangelical Association. A log church building was constructed in 1888 and a frame church was later built in 1905. In 1966, the congregation had been served by the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptists. It did not join the United Church of Canada.
