Appin Presbyterian Church, Appin, Ontario traces its origins to ca. 1848, when The Rev. W.R. Sutherland, minister at Knox Presbyterian Church, Ekfrid, began giving occasional services of worship at Appin. The congregation of Appin Presbyterian Church voted to remain within The Presbyterian Church in Canada at the time of Church Union in 1925.
