Alcance y contenido
The fonds consists of recordings of the "Local History with George Thorman" series, which ran on the local Allview Cable 8 network. In each episode, George Thorman interviews guests about various aspects of the history of St. Thomas and Elgin Country. In the early to mid-1990's, Steve Peters took on the role of host. The show then became known as "The New Local History with Steve Peters". These shows examined a wide range of topics, such as: the military careers of local citizens, the history of St. Thomas businesses, and the natural history of Elgin County.
