The congregation of Aldershot Presbyterian Church, Burlington, Ontario was organized in 1953, with Sunday Services being held by The Rev. T. Melville Bailey, and later by The Rev. Keith Wilcox. In December 1953, the Presbytery of Hamilton within The Presbyterian Church in Canada officially agreed to the establishment of the congregation, and on January 10th, 1954 the congregation was welcomed into The Presbyterian Church in Canada.

Fonds consists of minutes, registers and other records of Aldershot Presbyterian Church, Burlington, Ontario. These records, which are predominantly on microfilm, cover the dates 1954-1999. Specifically, the fonds consists of Session minutes (1954-1981, 1984-1999); baptisms (1954-1998); marriages (1985-1998); burials (1989-1999); and Orders of Service for the 18th Anniversary Service, for Charter Member Sunday (Jan. 14, 1979), and for the 25th Anniversary Service of the Dedication of the Church Building, 1982.
