Alberton Presbyterian Church on Prince Edward Island was formed in 1925 by those members of the original Alberton Presbyterian Church (est. 1831) that voted against Church Union and desired to remain part of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. The majority of the members voted to become a United Church.

Fonds consists of the minutes, communion rolls and other records of Alberton Presbyterian Church in Alberton, Prince Edward Island, including: Session minutes (1925-1970); Congregational Meeting minutes (1939-1969); an Annual Report (1927); three historical sketches of the church written in 1969, 1981 and 1985; and a photocopy of the dedication programme for the church in 1927. Fonds also consists of microfilm copies of some pre-1925 records of the original Alberton Presbyterian Church which entered the United Church of Canada. These are: Baptisms (1891-1898); Burials (1891-1898); Session minutes (1878-1900); and Communion Rolls (1891-1898, 1903-1907).
