Notice biographique
Albert Abramson was born on January 14th, 1923, in London, Ontario. He attended the University of Western Ontario and was later admitted to Osgoode Hall Law School. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1968 and practiced law in Toronto. He was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1982. Abramson died on May 15th, 2006.

Albert Abramson acquired the items at an auction. The material was given to H. Donald Guthrie for donation to the Archives.
Portée et contenu
Collection consists of framed photographs accumulated by Albert Abramson, a lawyer with law firm Cassels Brock & Blackwell. These photographs are portraits of five lawyers: John Bell Holden, Sidney Hamlin Robinson, Percy Claire Finlay, James Young Murdoch, and William Smith Walton. Each was a member of the law firm Holden, Murdoch, Walton & Beatty in Toronto during the 1930s.
