Brigden Presbyterian Church (Brigden, Ont.) was established in 1925 when 42 people chose to return to the Presbyterian Church in Canada from the newly formed Brigden United Church. In April of 1927, the congregation bought the former Methodist church from the United Church's Sarnia Presbytery. During this time, Brigden Presbyterian Church remained a two-point charge with Bear Creek. In 1933, Knox (Dawn) joined with them to form a three-point charge. The three-point charge was severed in 1973 when Bear Creek was placed on the same charge as Wyoming and Camlachie, while Point Edward joined Brigden and Knox (Dawn). This alliance was soon broken up about a year later when Knox (Dawn) joined with St. Andrew's (Petrolia). Brigden moved from being part of a two point charge with Point Edward to being a single charge with its own minister in 2000.

St. Paul's-Zion- Botany Pastoral Charge was established circa 1972 when St. Paul's Pastoral Charge and Turin-Botany Pastoral Charge amalgamated. It included St. James and Zion Churches in Harwich Township, and Howard Road and St. John's Churches in Botany. In July 2012, the pastoral charge amalgamated with Turin United Church and was renamed Rural United Pastoral Charge.

Howard Road United Church was established in 1925, formerly Methodist. The Howard Road Methodist Church was formed in 1837 when New Connexion Methodists began meeting in a log cabin in Botany. A church was buildt on the corner of Botany and Howard Roads in 1856. It fomed part of Howard Circuit, although briefly it was associated with Thamesville circuit in the 1870s and again from 1891-1903. Howard Methodist Circuit included McKay's Corners, Bethel, Northwood and Botany.It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. It amalgamated with St. John's United Church in 1997.

St. John's United Church, located at 12377 Botany Line, Kent Bridge, was established in 1925, formerly Presbyterian. In 1857, Botany Presbyterians build a church, forming part of a charge with Thamesville and Turin. In 1894, Turin and Thamesville became one charge with Botany joining Kent Bridge and McKay's Corners to form a three-point charge. It joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. In 1944 it formed part of Turin-Botany Pastoral Charge until ca. 1972 when the charge amalgamated with St. Paul's Pastoral Charge to form St. Paul's-Zion-Botany Pastoral Charge. It then became part of Rural United Pastoral Charge in 2012. It is still an active congregation.

Nelson-Palermo Pastoral Charge was established in 1959. Nelson Methodist Episcopal Circuit was established circa 1812, and included Bronte, Burlington, Waterdown, Ballinafad, Clarkson, Nassagaweya Township, Mountsberg and Millgrove; it eventually joined the Methodist Church, Canada. Palermo Methodist Church was established circa 1812; it joined the United Church of Canada in 1925. Palermo United Church was established 1925, formerly Methodist. Nelson United Church was established 1925, formerly Methodist. Mount Pleasant Methodist Church was established in 1880; it closed in 1924.

Brant Avenue was established in 1925, formerly Methodist; in 1937 the former congregation of St. Andrews United Church joined; and in 1995 Brant Avenue amalgamated with Zion United Church to form St. Andrew's United Church in the former Zion building.
