General note
On July 12th, 1940, the Sudbury lodges held their annual "walk"; this year, the march was done in honour of the 250th anniversary of the Battle of the Boyne. At the intersection of Lorne and Elm Streets, the Orangemen and Orange Ladies gave their respects to those casualties of the First World War. Members continued their walk along Elm Street before boarding buses to Nairn Centre.
