Administrative history
The Walther League, Laurentian District, consisting of young people from Lutheran congregations in the Ottawa Valley, was organized in 1936. The League was under the jurisdiction of the International Walther League of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. The purpose of the league was to support special projects such as the Wheatridge Sanitorium, the Walther League Messenger, and Leadership Training. In the early 70's, the organization came under the jurisdiction of the Ontario District (now East District of Lutheran Church-Canada) and changed its name to Eastern Ontario Lutheran Youth Federation.

Fonds consists of constitutions, bylaws, minutes, correspondence, project files, histories, scrapbooks, convention and rally booklets, newsletters and handbooks pertaining to the Laurentian District Walther League within the East District of Lutheran Church-Canada.
