Administrative history

The Silver Maple Women's Institute branch was first organized 02 Feb 1910, and disbanded in 1921. On 03 Mar 1950, Mrs. W. Johnston reorganized the branch as part of the District of Centre Simcoe. The name Silver Maples came from the maples on the property of one of the members.
