Administrative history

Established by the Executive Committee of the Senate on October 3, 1975, the Committee made recommendations as to the future of the programmes offered by the Department of Dietetics. In its report to the Senate on April 5, 1976, it recommended that the existing dietetics programme be phased out and a new programme in dietetics and nutrition be established in the Department of Biochemistry of the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The Senate accepted the Committee's recommendation.
