History
The Associated Designers of Canada, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1965 to raise the professional status and public awareness of set, lighting, sound and costume designers in Canada. It is federally certified to represent designers, acts as a negotiating body and represents the professional interests for its 150 members. ADC maintains a website with an online membership directory and virtual resource centre.
